FAQ
How does the two-part pricing work?
Katalyst pricing has two components. First, a platform fee for your org based on how many AI-active opportunities you want covered this scales with your pipeline, not your headcount. Second, a per-seat fee for each rep based on the feature tier they need (Starter, Core, or Agent). Your monthly cost is: platform fee + (seat price x number of reps).
What are AI-active opportunities?
AI-active opportunities are the deals in your pipeline that Katalyst's AI runs on. Every account and contact linked to an AI-active opportunity is automatically covered no separate limits. You choose which opportunities to activate, and Katalyst handles the rest: field suggestions, enrichment, signal monitoring, and more.
Why is platform coverage separate from seat pricing?
Because your pipeline size and your team size are independent. A 5-person team might manage 500 opportunities, while a 15-person team might manage 300. Separating them means you pay for what you actually use on each dimension your org's pipeline complexity and your team's feature needs without overpaying on either.
What exactly is included in "unlimited AI actions"?
On every plan, once an opportunity is AI-active, your reps get unlimited field suggestions (next steps, amount, stage, close date), unlimited account enrichment, unlimited contact enrichment, and unlimited signal monitoring. There are no per-action meters. Auto-draft emails and auto record creation are available on Core and above.
How do AI credits work?
Each rep gets a monthly credit pool (200 on Starter, 500 on Core, 2,000 on Agent) for specific AI actions: email drafts via chat (5 credits), contact suggestions (3 credits), contact research (4 credits), and AI column enrichment (1 credit). If you run out, buy add-on packs ($25 for 150 credits) add-on credits never expire.
What does "5 user messages per chat" mean?
On Starter and Core, each AI Chat session allows 5 user messages. Only your messages count the agent's responses are completely free. When you've used your 5 messages, start a new chat. On Agent, chats and messages are fully unlimited.
How does meeting recording work across plans?
Recording is done through the Katalyst Notetaker, which automatically joins your calls, records, transcribes, and generates summaries. You get 30 recordings per month on Starter, 100 on Core, and unlimited on Agent. You can also bring your own recorder (Fireflies, Circleback, Notion, Granola) on any plan.
What does free onboarding include?
Every plan includes full onboarding at no extra cost. We connect your Salesforce, sync records, help select AI-active opportunities, configure signals, connect email/calendar for each rep, and build your org's AI knowledge graph.
Can I change my platform coverage or seat tier later?
Yes. You can scale your platform coverage up or down and change seat tiers anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle. All data carries forward.
Are there minimum seat tier requirements for higher platform levels?
Yes. Platform coverage of 500+ opportunities requires Core seats or above. This ensures your team has the features needed to work effectively at that pipeline scale. For orgs with 2,000+ opportunities or 50+ reps, we recommend our Enterprise plan with dedicated support, SSO, full API access, and custom SLAs.
What's the difference between Core and Agent seats?
Core gives Pro chat with resolution, auto-email drafts, full signals, and 500 credits. Agent adds full deal intelligence (context graphs, stakeholder mapping, risk scoring, account plans), agent tuning to learn your sales process, AI-powered forecasting, unlimited chat, and 2,000 credits.
Do unused AI credits roll over?
Plan credits reset each billing cycle and don't roll over. Add-on credit packs ($25 for 150 credits) never expire and are consumed only after plan credits are used.
